Hi experts!
I applied my permanent application ( In Canada class) under spouse sponsorship. Just while exploring CIC website under sponsorship Forms ( In canada applicant) I just confused if I missed form IMM 5540. Is it for me to send along with application. Please help me...as I already sent my application. can some body tell me check list for In canada applicant?

when did you mail your application? check if cpc-v has already received your application. track the package. normally, if an application is incomplete, it is being returned to you. if cpc-v has already received it, try calling the call center and see if they can see any notes in the system for you. if everything is okay, then you don´t have to worry about anything. if the application is returned, then you fill the form out and send it together with the rest of the stuffs.

It has been applied since long time back. CIC-V did not returned my application. But my application has been transfered to Local CIC office. My Question is, If IMM 5540 was required for in Canada Spouse sponsorship or not?

what is this form about? i tried to find it on the CIC site and could not. it does not seem to be on the checklist for sposorship within canada.
i think if it´s been awhile and your application has not been returned then this form missing is not a problem (or the form is not required)
when did you apply? and when did you find you that you were refered to a local office?

if the file has been transferred to the local cic office, i don´t think you will need to submit it. if the officer will require you one, a letter will be sent to you. so relax... :)

Thanks Friends.
It was for the offshore sponsorship and not for In canada applications. I was confused. Well My application now transfered to Local CIC office in Mississauga after 5 months. I don´t how long I have to wait. It is really difficult to sit at home without any work.

Rajni,
I am kind of confused whether your application was filed "Canada Class" or "Family Class" ?
If you have applied thru Family Class then your sponsor has to fill IMM 5540.
Otherwise CPC - Mississauga can not approve your sponsor to be eligible to sponsor you.

It was a spousal Sponsorship in Canada class. CPC-V transfered my application o CPC-M.
