Subject: Time-Line Tables say the Opposite
  Ok guys, I had it. Enough lying on each other, and posting unreal, contradicting messages with the current situation. Are you sick of end-less waiting?
Why not face the truth and think what we can do to move our applications?
Lets be practical. We all know the time-lines shown by CIC, and they totally contradict people claiming they got it in 2 or less years. Even in Buffalo, don´t forget that you are from the 3rd world, and need to be fleed from your head to your toes for every place you have been to before you let in and out.
Frankly, I´m the sickest, most pathetic, jelous person in the world. I have no luck. col col col col col col
col = crying on line.

Re:waiting endlessly. (in reply to: Time-Line Tables say the Opposite)
Sharazad, your words speak of pessimism but you are not alone when you think like that.CIC has been testing our patience for months on end. They could be justified if their timelines and "processing dates"were accurate and honest enough, but they are not. They keep playing with dates of interviews, medicals etc etc. When a person applies for immigration,he/she invests a lot of time and also money in the process.Months go by before one hears from CIC.8 out of 10 they don´t respond.Letters and faxes almost always go unanswered. So who are we to blame,Whom she we complain to?Unfortunately there is no one.As I stated earlier this week, the only hope for us guys is to wait patiently for things to fall in place postively. It is not advisable to chase them or to get up every morning countind days since you applied, for that will only increase your tensions.

I Agree (in reply to: Time-Line Tables say the Opposite)
I agree with you, but I see many people on many forums receivied their medicals, interview waivers, landed, waiting their visas, ...
The one thing I need to know is whether they lie about it or it´s true since their applications submitted in fast processing offices.
But CIC had not been treating their clients like this before certain poit in the history we already know. They used to be fair enough that many people want to go to their country. what happened? Why they put their anger on some ones who have nothing to do with those horrible events?

I see no point in people lying about their dates. There is nothing to gain by lying about fake dates.Even if they do,the percentage is very small.
Genuinely there are people in this forum who want to share their anxiety about the prospects since it is hard almost impossible to find people on the roads who have applied or are waiting.
Coming to your second part, well I know for sure immigration to Canada used to take less than an year untill all hell broke loose on 9/11.I know many guys who got their immigrant visas in 8-10 months before 2001..What happened after 9/11 is that the US has twisted the arm of CIC,pressurised them and bullied them into changing or prolonging their background checks. All that has resulted in 3 years or more of waiting times. Since the Canadian economy is dependent on US,the CIC had no choice but to increase the waiting times while they went about prolonging the cases.

You have a good point (in reply to: Time-Line Tables say the Opposite)
Wow. I know families who got their visas after that hell date, and some still waiting. And I see many people there have movements in their cases while others are still hopeless. Surprisingly, both share the same visa office and the same dates.
Economically-dependent country!!!! Does not immigration contribute to their economy and labour market?

Canada is largely dependent on US for its exports and US buys 70% of electricity produced in Canada and ofcourse millions of tourists from US contribute so much to the Canadian economy.
About immigration, well the CIC doesn´t refuse so many cases, they only prolong the waiting times.By prolonging the waiting times, they generate millions of dollars in cash from the interest rate on deposits of Processing charges which you and all have paid them.
