Is finger print a must for all countries or name check certificates from police stations for ex from Australia enough ,I have a police certifcate from australia which states that I have no court cases or any pending cases.Do I still need to take finger printing.I lived in Australia from 1996 to 1999.

fingerprinting is a must for people who have lived in the US and Canada...
about Australia or other countries you dont need it unless specified.
The CIC does it background checkup independently and so you dont have to get finger prints unles you are required.
In the event you cannot provide the finger pritns then you should write a detailed letter explaining the reason...
