My brother wants to get married in Peru, we want to make sure we are getting all information. Can anybody help with the process.
We heard of a way for the bride to come to Canada immediately following the ceremony, is there a way to do this if not what about waiting period.(how long)

If your brothers spouse can get visitor visa to Canada she can come immediately. But it will be rejected as they will know that she will apply for immigration.
If your brother is PR of Canada he will have to return to Canada to sponsor his spouse. If he is citizen then this requirement does not apply.
Average time to sponsor spouse from Lima is 3 to 6 months. Please keep in mind that this is the average time taken for application submitted between April 2004 to March 2005.
