Subject: Detroit - August interview scheduled
  Hi,

I received the interview letter from Detroit today. Interview on Aug 11th. Time line is:

Applied : Dec ´03
AOR : Jan ´04
IA : June ´04
File transferred to Detroit : Feb ´05
Four months of checking/analysing file numbers and and finally,
Interview : Aug 11, ´05.

My e-client status is also updated. So keep checking the status folks. And never give up hope!

I have a few questions on the details of the interview, but for today, let me enjoy this moment....

Early Feb.I got two letters - one saying that the file will be transfered to Detroit due to high at NY and another soon after saying the the file has been transferred. Both arrived a few days apart.

My calculation is they do anything from 100 to 150 interview per month - and it is one in the order in which the fle was received from Buffalo. So your is right around the corner. Aug - may be Sep at thr latest.

when I first made the calculations about the file numbers etc...I thought I was pathetic...good to know I am not the only one doing it....that at least it could be considered normal... =)

I hope you´re right about Aug/Sept....did you have your medicals done?

I have been reading from other posts too that before the interview, it is a great idea to research about your choice of destination...apartment rates...transportation etc....history of the city/canada....present prime minister....and as much as possible answer as briefly but clearly as you can...goodluck to you...
