| Subject: why you want to leave Europe? |

I am at the verge of finishing my graduate school here in the US and have started looking for JOB. At this moment I am very open to job openings anywhere in the world. I come from an economically/scientifically not so sound south asian country, hence it makes sense to me to be labeled as economic migrant (some call opportunist). But I sometimes wonder why ppl from west European countries still want to immigrate to US or the Canada. I thought Things have changed a lot in europe over the last hundred years. Plz share your views as I want to know those subtle hardships about european life before mulling over the job opportunities in europe. Thanks.

my friend...you can´t focus just on job! Job is a part of one´s life not everything!
There are many reasons why an European would decide to leave EU for Canada. In my case, higher standard of living (environment, wide open spaces, less pollution, lower cost of living etc.), multiculturalism, life it´s easier, sense of adventure, optimism etc...

Thanks would be..., I just wanted to have a different perspective. In my case job offer would be a pretty heavy decisive factor to figure out where i want to settle even in canada

Confused I can hear ya. A poor bugger looks for money. As more of it as possible. Some gays in Europe feel smothered by their surroundings and also there is this overwhelming belief outside Canada that it is a nation of gays so many gay people from Europe are making a run for Canada. There are also some who were unemployed in Europe and had this notion that Canada is easy and move here. Yet other, hiding from the Law for various reasons, seek Canada as a refuge. Occasionally people miss arctic cirle experience and promptly seek to move to Canada so they can be close to arctic circle in a major way. Crooks, charlatans, third world slave minds you name a group and it is very likely they are targeting Canada because they will have their ass jailed and pulvarized if they try to move to the US.
