Congratulations Tatyana. I hope the stamping process was smooth and they didn´t give you a hard time. When are you planning to land?
I received my PPR on 5/25 and had 2nd thought about flying to BUF. Because I couldn´t get a good ticket deal at Expedia, I finally decided to just simply sent my PP via Fedex with USPS return envelope. I´m now waiting for its return.

i´m planning to leave Alabama US on June 14. We rented U-hall and my husband will drive track ,i will drive our car.
i think we will be there on June 19. We have to look for storage in Vancouver to unload U-hall and return it.
Then we go to Vancouver isalnd, Duncan.
This is the plan.

I was so ready to be over with all this paper process that why I went in person for visas. It wax very easy procedure.
At 7a.m. give them passport request form and by 2p.m. recieve them back.

congrats on your receiving PR card.
I have a question not necessarily related to your case, but I am hoping you´ll be able to answer me. I sent my application for a work permit (processed outside of Canada) to Buffalo, NY almost 3 weeks ago and I still haven´t got any reply from them. Do you know what is the waiting time for temporary visa applications in Buffalo? I am curently in Toronto on visitor visa and I would like (need) to start working ASAP.
The frustrating thing is that you cannot check your application status in Buffalo. Or you can?

No, I don´t have any useful information for you.
I appleid as skill worker and during my process I did find job in Vancouver. So, I don´t know about temporary visa application, but you should ask others on this forum.
You will find someone with information you need. Just post a new topic " temporary visa application". Sorry.
