To Swissgirl, I´ll be doing something in Belgian chocolates :)
To Swissguy, being British, you have the choice of applying via London or Paris.Don´t know which one is faster though. You might want to try this board :

It´s my gut feeling that Paris is about the same as London. I think the Berlin offce is the fastest in Europe but they only handle Dutch and Germans, most f those guys are done in under a year.

John, thanks for your advice, much appreciated. I think that I am required to apply through Paris, as In am currently resident in Switzerland, and have been for well over 3 years now. I think I´ll do this also becuase at one point waiting times seemed to be significantly shorter through Paris. Maye they still are a little quicker.
I´ll certainly take a look at the site you recommended. Cheers again!
