Hi everybody,
Ok, here´s the story:
I sent my application for a work permit (processed outside of Canada) to Buffalo, NY almost 3 weeks ago and I still haven?t got any reply from them. Do you know what the waiting time is for temporary visa applications in Buffalo? My "consultant lawyer" tells me that it?s a matter of weeks from the date sent. Is this true?
I am curently in Toronto on visitor visa and I would like (need) to start working ASAP.
The frustrating thing is that I cannot check my application status in Buffalo. Or I can?
Any help would be very appreciated,

you can go to www.cic.gc.ca and under application timelines, you can check there the average processing time for work permits in buffalo.
