Hi, we are currently getting all the forms together to immigrate to canada. We are wondering where other scottish people went for their police clearance certificates as our local police station said they have no idea how to help us.
Also, do we need police clearances from scotland and the metropolitan police london?

Hello,
I am of Scottish background, but my family immigrated here about 130 years ago!
I don´t know the answer to your questions, but the Canadian embassy in the UK will. There might be a Canadian consulate closer to you in Scotland. They should know where you have to go to get this clearance. They are the ones who will review this police clearance.

hello there,my brother lives in newzealand,an d he is applying for his residency there.nz immigration needs his police clearance from canada ,because he also lived here.so how can he get canadian police clearance.and if he did,how can he get the fee payment receipt,which he needs to attach with application.thank u.please help.
