| Subject: PR wants to sponsor parents and silbling |

I am current on PR status and live in Canada. However, all my incomes are US income. I wonder if I can sponsor my parents and my married sister?
I tried to read through CIC´s web site but I really do not understand if I can sponsor them all together? My income is sufficient to sponsor all of them though it´s US income.
Any answers are appreciated.

hi all, any quick answers for me? I reviewed one more time the CIC web site - is it correct that I can now sponsor my parents but not sister and niece?

yes, it correct that you can only sponsor your parents, but not married sister and niece who is not considered as family member.

Just be aware that current processing time for parental sponsorship applications is a few years. As a matter of fact, nobody knows how many years it may take. You can find more info on that at http://www.sponsoryourparents.ca/
