Subject: Docs to proof english level:
I plan to submit my skilled worker application to Hong Kong, and also don´t plan to take IELTS as i´ve already spent about 8 years in canada (study and work).

I want to know what type of materials or documents are best to include for proofing my english level?

Your work reference letters will show the medium of your work exp. Your study certificates also will do. No more. Should they feel that these are not enough, they will ask you for the test.

In your case you can write a letter to the consulate explaining your situation specially that you have stayed in Canada for 8 years and already know how to integrate in the system. Also that you are fluent in English because you have spent a significant time in Canada. You have the necessary skills in English and it will work you may be exempted from IELTS exam. Also if you studied in a school/college where the medium of teaching was in English you can mention that and it will work fine too... I did the same and I was exempted from taking IELTS.

Show them your education(in English) letters, may be work letters that says that the all transactions within and outside the company, if any, were done in English. This will take care of everything.

Give that a try. if they require you to take IELTS they will let you know. Immigration is a 1+yr process so you dont have to worry about loosing any time.

It would help if your letters included information from the Canadian Language Benchmarks. You can download the pdf from the cic website. Good luck.

what HS mentioned is absolutely true. Show your transcripts in english, your letters from your professor and work employers in english and state openly in your covering letter that the medium of instruction is english. If possible submit a letter from the school and work place saying that the entire communication medium for all purposes is english .I did all of these and they havent asked me for IELTS test.best of luck.
