Subject: Success Story - III
  Hi

I happy to see the discussion on the thread I started. The reason I picked the story was to illustrate that all is not that bad as being suggested by TOP TEN REASONS.... etc., There were lot of negatives that were being circulated in this forum, just to counter them I picked the story to be put up on this forum.

I do understand that all is not green on the other side but if there is a will there is always way. Coming to the discussion on skilled people not getting a job of their choice, I am from Inida and I hope Indians will agree that how many engineers and doctors in India are employed in their own profession?

I know some engineers in India are working in banks, call centres etc.,and I know some doctors are into real estates, acting etc.,

Here the main criteria is not be in his own profession but to make little more money. So if a job offers u money why dont u take it.
When u can do this in India why crib about it doing in a foreign country.

Somebody was saying in this forum that to hire a sales guy, the guy needs to know the local market, well how many people who work in middle east have knowledge about local market? I was working in middle east for sometime and when I went there I had no prior knowlege about market but I was successful and here I am waiting for PR to canada and this was mainly due to the work I did in middle east.
I was employed by an MNC and I was trained in Canada and I was asked to work for them in middle east. When I went to canada for training I was not sure of what I going to become but the people were so kind and accomodative that they taught me everything and this talk about racism, discrimination is all but bull shit. The racism or discrimination is not what one dicusses in this forum it is all about identity crisis. When I was there I went in search of an Indian restraunts, indian friends and it applies same to everyother person who comes to canada trying to be in their own company but as time goes by they try to come out of their shells.

Why in india if one were to leave is own state for example if from Tamilnadu I go to Uttarpradesh or Bengal I am no better than a foreigner because I will not know the local language or culture it will be like I am in some foreign country but does this mean there are no people from Tamilandu or kerala working in UP or Bengal or vice versa.
When one can do this here why not do it in Canada.

There is story that says that an american went to moon and he was greeted by a keralite and asked him to have tea in his tea shop. This shows the survival quality and I hope that in all culture and countries similiar stories are being told to showcase the survival qualities of man.

So there is no need to despair, everybody has his own share of joys and sorrows hence do ur duty the rest will follow be it in canada or usa or india.

Have Hope and be Positive

Thanx
Pushpa

Please stop discouraging people. There are lot of Engineers in India also who did not get good job but same time there are lot of non-engineering degree people working as engineers.

In Canada also I know many people who got good Job offer even before landing. It?s really depends on person to person.
At last I would say two things

1.We are fully responsible what we are.
2.If you are really desperate to get something; ´Definitely you will get it´.

All the Best to ALL

The very important thing said is person to person.
Remember the great saying- "When going gets tough, the tough gets going."
It´s true in everywhere in the world.
