Hello Everyone
I just wanted to let everyone know how this forum continues to be a great resource for me as i move through the process of sponsoring my wife here in Toronto.
Here is my timeline...
Applied to CPC-M on May 20/2005
Sponsorship Application - Decision Made on June 10/2005.
I guess the waiting game continues as the focus now moves to CIC-ND.
Does anyone have the same timeline? It would be great to have someone accompany me through this entire process.
Again my great appreciation each one of you in the forum for a great service that you are doing.

It takes about 10 days for the file to transfer to ND and then within in a month you will recevied Passport Request and about 3 weeks before you get your passport back.

I have noticed that from the timelines of other folks. It varies between 8-15 days. Do they phisically send the applications over from Mississauga to New Delhi or is it simply a data transfer on a computer?

I guess they transfer all documents related to PR as most of the documents and proofs such as marriage cert. and photos are sent back upon granting PR ... i may be wrong...

i applied for my wife visa, she is in India
My time line
Applied CPC MISS - 16 May 05
Application Appoved - 10 June 05
Application sent to New Delhi
so now we are in the same boat. we u recive any call for passpost let me know, so that we cas share this valuable information.

hi,
i have sponsored my husband from india. here is my timelines:
application sent to cpc missisauga- 26th sept 05
file sent to delhi and decision made on sponsorship - 1st oct05
delhi starts processing on 12th oct 05
e-client still shows " in-process" with medicals recd.
e-client says,..we started processing on 12th oct 05
medicals have been recd.
today 7th nov 05, still no news from delhi. can anyone help...?

I AM JUST ABOUT TO APPLY FOR MY WIFE´S VISA.I AM CANADIAN PERMANENT RESIDENCE AND SHE IS IN INDIA. COULD ANY ONE TELL ME WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR HER VISA (DO I NEED TO SHOW ANY FUNDS, ADDING MY FAMILY NAME TO HER PASSPORT, ETC).

www.cic.gc.ca look under family class and read it all very carefully. You are required to sponsor your wife before she can come here.
