Subject: Points from French
I want to ask advice from Sharon or anybody who can...
I took French during my undergraduate for 2 semester and got grade-A
in my transcript.
I put straight 0 in my assesment, anyway, because I extremely don´t have confidence in it.
Will CIC give me extra score for my assesment?

If they give you points they will ask you to provide your score from the TEF test.

You can ask for the points but dont just count for it... if you are lucky and get more points there is nothing to harm.

In your letter for french proficiency just ask to claim the lowest points possible so dont put a check for fluent.
If you can make say 2 points or so or may be even 4 poitns it not bad.

Ask for it but I say dont depend on it.

Good Luck

Instead of the TEF you can write a letter explaining your french skills.

As I said... ask for the bare minimum there is nothing to loose... and if they still ask for the exam or something just skip it.(provided you are making a good 67+ score...

I had to take TEF (in reply to: Points from French)
In my appliation, I included a note explaining my proficiency in French. I claimed it to be at the moderate level. The assessment paper I got from CIC asked me to take both IELTS and TEF. What a waste...
