| Subject: What is IA letter? |

Hi All,
What is IA. I know it is initial assessment letter but, what often CIC indicate in that letter is it some thing like prelimanry acceptance? how often does take CIC to respond with that letter after submitting the application? Does any one who got this letter consider him self in Canada and the rest is a matter of time?
