Subject: two question

On application to sponsor and undertaking on question 10) are you a canadian citizen and if so became a citizen on. I am a bit confused. I was born in Israel to a canadian mom and an israeli dad therefore i was a canadian citizen from birth, do i have to write down that i became a citizen when i was born or put not applicable and leave it blank.

on the sponsor questannaire for question number 8) it says have you resided in countries other than Canada?
no
yes
I have been in Mexico and will be here for 5 months, do i need to put this on the application as if i resided here in Mexico even though it will only be 5 months.

also i was born in Israel and moved at the age of 4 to Canada and can?t remember my address in Israel............. should i put it down or is it okay if i do not put down my address from Israel.

thanks for your time

The guide to filling out this form states that you should only put the date if you are a naturalized Canadian (you came first as a PR, then became a citizen).

In my case, I checked the box stating that I am a citizen, then wrote "not applicable" on the date, because I am not naturalized (therefore dont need the date) and you are not supposed to leave any section empty.

In your case, you may want to add an extra sheet, and explain your situtation.
