| Subject: Getting status from Buffalo |

Hi:
I wanted a confirmation from the experts in this user group that my understanding about contacting Buffalo RPC is correct.
I have submitted all my medical, police certificates etc for about 4 months now and haven´t heard back anything and my medical is expiring soon.
Is it correct that the only possible ways to get some information about the status are:
1. Sending a fax to Buffalo (have done that without getting any response)
2. Ask a Canadian citizen family/friend in Canada to call the national immigration service phone number (have done that and they asked to call Buffalo)
3. Get CAIPS (have requested them)
A) Is there anything I am missing out in terms on contacting autorities to get status?
B) Calling Buffalo is not an option as they don´t have any phone service. Is there any way to talk to someone in Buffalo?
C) Is it possible for someone to walk into the Buffalo RPC physically and seek status information?
Any ideas/experiences are appreciated.

Just a few posts ago someone posted the tel no. of buffalo office where they actualyl spoke to someone... check them
