Please advice me on the paperwork for the addition of a new baby in the PR application for canada. My child was born last week in the USA. They did not send me the paperwork for his medicals. The consulate only asked me to provide his birth cert, passport copy and name details on the application.
Please let me know if a new born baby in the USA has to undergo medicals. I applied as a skilled worker at Buffalo NY and i am from India. Also does a US citizen require a PR card to reside in Canada.
Sharon or anyone else who can throw light on the issue is greatly appreciated.

hi there,
ys the usa citizen need to apply for PR in canada, and i think the new born baby does not undergo a medical test.
but let us hear from Sharon if she got any idea about this.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply to my last posting.To add baby into my PR application.My lawyer told me to send following documents
-certified copy of his birth certificate
-copy of his passport
-4 photographs, same dimensions as per the instructions sent for you and your wife
- a bank draft payable to the Canadian Consulate General in the amount of US$110.00 to cover the government fee
My Lawyer filled the forms so I do not know.But I checked CIC website.I think you can find forms on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/skilled.html
I´m not sure but you need to fill same formd like you filled earlier for other dependent(Husband/Wife).
One thing more regarding Baby Medical test.Baby Medical Test depends on his/her age.You can find detail information on following link

I did Medical Test in New Jersey.
