My interview was successful I have also received passport request.
Canadian high commission asked me to provide proof of funds in Canadian bank
I want to open an account in Canadian bank for immigration purpose.
Prior to my arrival in Canada. Please tell me which Canadian bank is providing this type of service.

I am not sure if the CHS would ask you to open an account in Canada befoer your arrival.. but you can try a couple of bacnk that do online banking and may eb you can try to open an account without actually going to the bank.
One bank is PC FINANCIAL (President Choice Financial) www.pcfinancial.ca
Another bank is ING Direct. Check www.ingdirect.ca
If you are from India you can open an account in ICICI. They are opening a Canadian Accounts now. They are trying to establish here in Canada and so try that...
Even There is Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotia Bank) they have banches all over the world. Their site is www.scotiabank.com
Also there is Royal Bank of Canada www.royalbank.com They have selected branches in the Bahamas and Caribbean area..
but I suggest going with PC Financial or ING... banking with PC financial gives you free goroceries and other perks... its good...and it is the best in giving some good interests on savings accoutns. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
