Subject: Reliability of CAIPS notes ?
  Hello everyone,

I got my CAIPS notes report today. Here are my details :

Applied in Nov 2004 under the Skilled worker category at Buffalo CIC.
Recd AOR in March 2005.
No news since then !

Now the CAIPS report says my "Bring Forward date" is March 2006, which is exactly a year after the date they started processing my application !!

Is this typical? Does this mean my application will not come up for IA till march 06 ? According to yogi799.com, I have seen people receiving their IAs approximately 8-9 months after they sent their applications.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? ? If so, I would appreciate it if you can share some details.

Thanks in advance !!!

do not use Yogi as your guide for timelines. they are refering to past events. your appliciation is current and circumstances at the embassy might be entirely different at this time. The BF date means that someone will look at your file in Mar 2006 at the very latest. quite possibly before.

Please DO NOT apply for CAIPS notes before you get IA. It is a complete waste of money. You do not get any useful information out of the notes before IA.

BF date is simply a reminder set in the system to bring file to officer?s attention if no activity occurs prior to that date. This is just to keep track of the files and make sure that a file does not get lost.

Don?t pay any attention to it, it doesn?t affect anything

Immigration Status (in reply to: Reliability of CAIPS notes ?)
Hi,

The immigration officer had asked me to submit my English test results. I am still short of 1 point for 67. I did sent all my employer reference letter and conditional offer letter to the immigration officer. One more thing I submitted my file at Buffalo office but they have transferred it to Michigan in order to expedite my case. I don?t have any clue what?s going on. Anyways you can suggest me something I will be thankful to you.

Canadian HighCommission Chandigarh (in reply to: Reliability of CAIPS notes ?)
Dear All

Canadian High Commission has offiers who are not just evaluating teh situations of applicants applying under Work Permit for Canada under Trade Skilled person.

A person with 23 Years of Experience in Carpentery Job has go Visa refusal by saying that " U cant perform the work sought"

Now ask the Canadian High Commission that who was that hell who appointed this Silly and Foolish Visa Officer ther ein canadian High Commission Chandigarh ? They are Just Sitting to earn in Lacs from Indians and doing nothing.

Secondly when there is mentioned clearly that Employer need no English. Even then they are refusaing by saying thatyiu need english to work with thsi particular employer.

In Nut Sheell it is clear that The mental level of Visa officers working at CHC Chandigarh are not a level of a person syaing in a Tribe of Africa.

I have applied for Work Permit and i got Refusal, i worked in DUbai for more than five Years as a Steel fixer and they refised by saying that you cant work there. You knwo what I am forced to get to Canada by beaching rules, and now i am in Canada through one of their Visa officer who endorsed my Visa by taking 18 Lacs at Chandigarh. Theyare just quacks sitting in there.

Thanks and Lets hope for teh best for Canadian Visa Offficers.
