I have send my file on 1.11.2004 to Germany and I have got my file number on 1.12.2004 from Berlin.
after two weeks they had send me a fax on 17.12.04 that they are assessing now my file and one of the following situation my take place:
1-if you not qualify for immigration to canada,you will receive a letter informing you of the decision and the reason for that decision.
2- you may be asked to submit additional documents.
3- you will be notified should an interview with an immigration officer will be required.
I have heard that the processing in Berlin would be fast,but since the last fax they did not contact me anymore,so I am little bit confused and I don´t know why they are waiting so much .
Has anybody the same case from Berlin,so can give me advise what should I do next.

Hi Sid,
Well I also applied via Berlin in November 2004 and received my AOR in December 2004. In my AOR it was stated that I will be getting my IA in 6-8 months. So hopefully, our IA shd be in latest by mid August. So I guess you need not worry much. We are still within scheduled time at least till now. We can later re-acivate this thread to compare timelines.
