| Subject: Spousal...why so long? |

Hello,
my husband´s application is in its final stage, since during background check Buffalo had requested additional documents, and we sent those 2 months ago. Still nothing ! We faxed them, and again - no answer ! I´m in Canada, and he´s in US. They started processing his application on January 24, 2005. Is this normal during this stage (background check), when we have supplied them with all the documents to still take that long?! I thought that once they had those documents their decission wouldn´t take that long.

There are several factors to consider like has he been living somewhere else? They do also check about his work, education, etc to see if those are true. Also, since you were requested to provide additional dcouments, you have to wait a little longer. It won´t be that long. Just a little more patience :)
