well, Sharon is technically a whitie. I went to a little Asian food market near my home on Saturday to buy 2 lemons. I was the only white person. Did I feel uncomfortable- no. did the employees treat me politely-yes. could I read the packaging - mostly no. Everything on the shelves looked very strange. Later, I went to get my mother for a family party. She lives in a neighbourhood that used to be all european in the 50´s and 60´s. I stopped to look in the neighbourhood shop windows so I could admire the beaded sarees and beautiful silk fabrics. I wish I could wear some of the clothes. So, now my family is together. we eat BBQ chicken with Morrocan couscous, and italian style vegetables. I never think that I am white and everyone is brown or yellow or beige or whatever colour. I never think that people speak with funny accents. EVERYONE speaks with funny accent in Canada. what colour am I... I have no idea and I really do not care.

In Canada:
Try talking this issue over with a blind person.
Rather than abusing nature´s most cherished gift (the eyes) put it to something which could be worthwhile for the mankind.
It takes efforts & good education to evovle into a reasonable human being which the likes of you are miles away from.
Think (if u can) about a scenario in which a remote planet in the big Universe is inhabitated by Blue and Green creatures like us. Sitting from Earth what would you prefer: creatures of some particular colour or cretaures with good hearts and mind.
If you haven´t studied biology let me tell you skin is just like other organs of the body. It changes colour due to the presence of Melanin. Melanin protects the human body from cancer causing UV rays. The more the body is exposed to UV rays the more Melanin it´ll produce to protect. The more the Melanin the darker the skin. And that is ALL.

what colour vegetables do you eat? Some particular colour or depends on the nutritional value, taste etc.
what colour flower do you prefer? Some particular colour or depends on the fragrance, structure, beauty etc.

Dear Robinhood,
I would advice you to be selective about what you should really be worried about out here. Just because you see opinions from a person whose brains have been sucked out doesn´t mean you have to keep replying and trying to reason out with him/her. Just a suggestion.
Coming to "In Canada" (I will refer to him/her as "it" henceforth), I think others in the forum have had similar experiences with "it", so just let "it" post "its" views, because "it" would know what others think about "its" opinions anyway.

Ya you are right, I also realize it and hence had not indulged earlier. But, I decided to write as I feel there are many more people like "it" and thought may be my few minutes of input might help make this world a better place.
