| Subject: Experience letter problem |

Hi,
I am a student from india doing my P.hd in Canada.I have worked for a company in india on temporary contract for almost 2.5 years thru a consultant company where i started my job first.Now the problem for me is that WHILE APPLYING FOR MY STUDENT VISA IN INDIA I HAVE MENTIONED THE NAME OF THE COMPANY WHERE I WORKED ON TEMPORARY CONTRACT.But now when I asked for the experience letter from that company,it is saying that i was a temporary employee of that company and they can´t give me a experience letter.But when I asked to consultant company which posted me there,it´s saying that it can give me the experience letter on behalf of that company.
My problem now is,if I get an experience letter from that company and apply for immigration.Is that will make my case rejected as i had mentioned another company while applying for a student visa.
I am very much in need of ur help guys,please advice me what i have to do.

Hi karthi,
No problems.
1. Just get the letter from your consultant first. make sure the dates are exactly the same as what it was.
2. Write a nice cover letter to CHC and explain the reason and submit the letter.
I am sure they will appreciate it in normal cases unless some fanatic takes up the case and keeps checking apart from using in vain all the resources of the Canadian Border service or intelligence agencies.
