Could any one guess how long I have to wait for an interview after my file appears on the Detroit web site.

My file # appeared in Feb update and my interview is scheduled in Aug. Most probably you will get the interview letter before the website is updated.

my file appeared in the March 4 update.....until now no interview date...but I heard it depends on the officer handling your file...some are really fast...some are really slow...

Thanks for the replys.
At Detroit interviews are supposed to be in the order they receive the files. I do not think any processing is done at Detroit until the interview is over. Therefore the speed of the officer should not be a factor.
My file also first appeared in the March update. No interview date yet.

Since the day I saw my file #, I started analyzing the list. I copy/paste the numbers in my excel every after update. I already saw a lot of file numbers that were not in the March 4 update list but got an interview date in the Apr 27 update list. So there´s really no telling how they schedule the interview. Let´s just keep praying and hoping patiently...goodluck to you.
