| Subject: Permanent Work Visa in Canada |

If offered a position with a company in Canada, I have enough qualifying points to immigrate as a Skilled Worker. Does anyone have or know a realistic time frame as to how long, once offered a position, till I could actually go to work for that company in Canada? I am wondering if there is anything I should be doing in the meantime to shorten the length of time. Anything would be helpful!

I live in Georgia, USA. I assume I would apply through the office in Buffalo, NY. I have applied to a lot of companies in Ontario (which is where I would want to live/work)and have had a few interviews. I would just love to have some time frame of reference so I can know what to expect if offered a position....and is there anything I can be doing or should be doing ahead of time to expidite the process.

look at the dates. ancient. one of the strange new twists to the last 30 posts... we are now seeing those threads from 2004 that people are responding to.
Oliver did not add IP´s until about 2 years ago to help identify the baddies.
