hi all,
my status has changed to "In Process - Medicals have been received" since June 27, 2005. my file is with consulate in new york city. does this mean that my background check is complete and i should expect an interview request anytime in the next 1 week or so? Or does it mean that they may initiate the background check at this time and so my pp request might be delayed considerably?

It really means that they have received info on your medicals and you are in the system. What to expect? Well, expect to go about your daily life and have some fun. Leave the anxiety trips and conjectures out of the equation. Also stop checking eclient status every 15 minutes or so and just work more...

my interview was waived by new york consulate. so did my medicals after interview waiver sent in may 2005.

There is no expert on BG Check - the only one is CIC and apparently even they are not sure about it!!
