Subject: proof of funds
I don´t understand the point in submitting a bank statement while submitting application for immigration. I thought before landing that would make sense. Can someone tell me, does a savings account balance is enough? and again this money will not be same every day ebcause I am using the money and therefore the amount always changes. Does this help?

It depends how much you have in your current account. CIC does not care about the type of the account as long as there is sufficient fund in it. The sufficient funds will vary depending on your status; single, married, have kids etc...
Hope that helps.

I think the point is to make sure you will meet their requirements and will be able to settle in a new city and country without putting undue stress on yourself or on the Canadian system. I´m sure they expect that funds change constantly; however, as long as you meet their requirements, they likely assume you will continue to for the duration of the process (and, as you mentioned, they do apparently check again closer to your landing). I would include any and all funds that you have easily available; remember, you are proving your worth (financial and otherwise) to people who have enormous influence over your future (whether you get to live your dream of settling in Canada). As with this entire application, the fewer questions the processing officer has while reviewing your case, the better; therefore, the more relevant paperwork, funding, etc that you can supply them with, the faster the process (I hope!). Good luck!

more imp is the money in your account... if you have the dough you are in...

Its a part of the game man... so dont worry about funds...

At the time of application if you have the money you are all good... and then make sure that you show the money once you are entering Canada.

I borrowed some money from friends and send the application for PR.

Later while entering I agained borrowed the money and entered Canada... once its all done... I am again back to square one...

Cheers
