Subject: change of mailing address |
our immigration lawyer has closed office here in manila. all of our correspondents regarding our application as canadian immigrant are addressed in that office. how can we inform the canadian embassy that we are changing our mailing address?

you need only to send them a FAX explaining the issue and ofcourse provide them with your new mailing address. Try to send fax as soon as possible and for sure you need to send them a Registered LETTER with acknowledgment of Receipt via the MAIL to be sure that they received it and after some time you check it on the line on CIC.gc.ca online status they should mentioned your new address with all your contact numbers (Telephones, Fax) Mobile every thing that make it easy for them to contact you.

(in reply to: change of mailing address) Are you still with your lawyer? If yes, should their new address be you new one?
If no, I think aside from the letter of change of address you need to fill up form IMM5476 E. This is about authorized representative...you need to check the box of NO REPRESENTATIVE or something to that effect. Goodluck.
