Hi guys,
Today I was checking my e-client status. It usually says that "your application was started processing on august 17, 2004". The status now is changed to "Your application was started processing on august 17, 2004. medicals has been received".
now my question is how long will it take now for passport request.Any details will be appreciated.
Just for quick information about timelines, iam a ph.d student in canada and applied for immigration from buffalo, USA. I got AOR on august 17, 1004, IA on march 22, 2005 and i completed my medicals on april 15, 2004 and submitted other documents on end of april.

Whats your Nationality?
About PPR, its just around the corner, it normally takes a good 21 days to receive PPR in Canada, thats 21 days from the PPR letter date to the date its in ur mailbox.
But again you never know about CIC.

Hi guys,
Iam from india and has been in canada for last 3 years or so.IAm still keeping my fingers crossed. i have to mention here that i did RCMP in first week of march eventhough i got my initial assessment in third week of march, where they have not asked for RCMP.
Anyways iam keeping my fingers crossed. iam hoping that pp request comes soon.

Hi boss, congratulations! Usually "medicals has been received" means you will get PP request very soon.
I woul dlike to confirm that you did medicals last April and it seems already expired. Did Buffalo ask you for 2nd medicals? I am just worrying about mine. Thanks for sharing your experience.

congratulations. i think your pp request is on the way. if you don´t receive it within two weeks, you may have to wait for another 8 months.
