Can someone answer this for me pls?
Is it possible that when the file comes to the officer?s attention, he/she can just toss it aside and assign it another bring forward date? Do you know if this has ever happened?

I had a similar concern for my sponsership file and What i learned from this forum and by discussing this with some other people is that, Bring forward date is assinged to the file so that it does not get lost and popup after certain period. The only reasion an officer will assign another bring forward date is when you have not responded to all the inquires rasied till your BF date or there is some additional inquirey posted by officer. And whether the file can be picked up before its BF date depends upon office to office. Some offices have too much load and less staff in that case file is normally processed on BF dates. Whereas in some cases file were processed before there BF dates where work load is normal.
