| Subject: Address inside Canada |

Hi folks, this seems to be a great forum for exchanging information. I had a question...I was told that when a PR card is applied for, they ask for an address inside Canada where it is shipped to, but in my case I will be in Canada only for 2-3 days for landing and then I will get back to the US, also I do not now anyone there...Can anyone give me suggestions about what I can do under these circumstances...Thanks buddies and all the best.

Do you actually need an address or would a post office Box do?
If you can just use a post Ofice box I would suggest that

USGuy, If you just need an address to receive mail, then, as Pat has suggested get a post office box.

Thanks Pat and Tina for taking the time to respond..Well, I guess that is a good option, but my friend did the same and he had issues when he gave the address in the imigration department, they in fact refused to send the PR card or any communications to a PO Box, hence I was worried about what to do...Any pointers would be appreciated.

Another option is to find "Off Shore Mailbox". It is a fully featured address where you receive your mail. I know there are many companies in the world that do that, don´t know one in Canada. Try searching the Internet.

Thanks for the tip Ross. I was trying to find out online for offhore mailbox, but was unable to get concrete links to the same. Do you have any pointers...

Try MBE.ca Google on "mailbox" "rental" and the Canadian city you want to receive the mail in and you should get quite a few results
