| Subject: Take IELTS or not |
Hi,
I am debating this question for a while now. Is there anyone on the forum who had an interview and didnot take the test ? How did the inteview go ? Did it cause any issues that IELTS was not taken?
If any one has information, pl do reply.

Since you are debating the issue "for a while" now, why don´t you just take the test. Its not a big deal. Moreover you will buy some peace of mind by doin´ it.

After my interview I was asked to submit IELTS. Additionay, IELTS is mandatory to evaluate final score, interviewer doesn´t have authroity to check your enlish skills during interview.
I suggest you to go for IELTS test, on the other hand you gonna waste cuple of months.

It all depends on the immigration officer.I had my interview on Feb 15 and i wasn´t asked for english proficiency either.But to be on the safe side, I did take one and kept the score with me, just incase they ask it.But to my surprise she did not mention it and i did not mention about the IELTS either.So dude, my deduction...every thing depends on luck!!!

I do understan all cases treated on individual basis.
Dude, most probably in your case, English was involved in you´r educational background as well as in work experience. However, according to my knowledge and experience, nowadays, they are emphasising on IELTS.
Moreover, you could check new immigration form for SW, You must have to send English Proficiency letter or IELTS when you submit application.
I´ll still suggest you go for IELTS test.
