Subject: Sponsorship vs skilled worker category
I intend to marry a U.S. citizen in the near future. We would be married in Canada and reside here after the wedding. She could easily qualify to immigrate under the "skilled worker" category. What are the pros and cons of sponsorship vs the skilled worker route? Which is better? Which is faster? Thank you.

Family sponsorship applications are given top priority, so that would be a faster route. You may not want to take the chance that she´d be rejected as a skilled worker, then have to sponsor her anyway.
