I had pulmonary tuberculosis and got cured 5 years ago. As the x-ray definitely shows this situation for my life long, will there be any chance that I can get medicals passed at all?

I don´t think the medicals are passed or failed... the results are given to CIC (you only see part of the result IF there is something wrong with you and you need treatment).
Of course, there is always a chance! If you are family class, you will have a better chance.
