  Dave´s quote:
Most places in Canada, you also get a DUI if you inside your car while drunk.

Just about everyone knows this, so its pretty simple, if you have a few drinks, do not get inside your car.

68 U.S. clean millions (in reply to: Letter sent to Stephen Harper from K. Schwarz - 3)
Again, here is the litteral copy sent to Stephen Harper, leader of the Conservative party in Canada from Karl Schwarz. Sandra is his administrative-assistant.

Please read it carefully.

++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hello Sandra,

I am beginning to wonder why a "no threat" person from Canada is not allowed into the US and a "no threat" person from the US is not allowed into Canada, especially since they are married.

I am having serious reservations about making any commitment to invest into Canada through our nanotechnology company if this type of "border hassle" is going to be the norm rather than the exception.

I have vendors in Markham, Ontario, Mississauga, and New Brunswick that will be involved in a US$68 million project to manufacture and deliver 250 of our nanotech machines to our US Plant.

I respectfully ask that this matter get addressed, sorted out immediately, or we will see if the vendors in Canada or plant locations can be placed with other companies. At this time, going from the U.S. to China is easier and that tells me something is seriously amiss, or being overlooked, or someone is not doing their job.

I am available to answer any questions you may have, and I think the time is long past due to resolve this matter of Marie and Ashley being together.

If something is known on that side that they have not shared with me, I would understand but in the absence of that the current situation is not acceptable or forgivable.

I too have been hassled coming across that border even while on the way to meet with people about making significant commitments to invest in Canada. United We Stand, and as it is now, not so sure that motto applies.

best regards,

Karl

Not so in US (in reply to: Letter sent to Stephen Harper from K. Schwarz - 3)
It varies from place to place in the States. In parts of Florida they have Drive Throughs where you can order mixed drinks from your car, yet at the beach in the same town an open beer can is illegal. In NC you don´t have to be drunk, just smell like beer on your breath and be in a car. I understand they are now planning for ZERO tolenence - drink any where but at home and go to jail.

I think the U.S. should publish a book of laws for all visitors and give it to you when you enter the country.

in political circles is considered a threat.

DUI is not a new law, and it is not an obscure law.

we are on thread #3 and I am still trying to figure out what Martine wants from the people on this forum.

I can understand why he isn´t allowed to cross the border but why isn´t she allowed to cross the border?

I am killing myself to ask to people to check the Immigration law (in reply to: Letter sent to Stephen Harper from K. Schwarz - 3)
I am killing myself to ask to all the people here if they are truly and really caring about the Immigration law to:

Check the amended law, paragraph 36 (2) (B) published on July 2004 because 5 years were elapsed when my husband was stopped at the POE on November 2004 i.e. 4 months later for two old DWI´s in 1978 and 1995. Almost 10 years were elapsed so according to the law Mona Scott referred, he was supposed to at least pass as a visitor....

What she wants? (in reply to: Letter sent to Stephen Harper from K. Schwarz - 3)
I think she just wants someone to look into the immigration laws because it sounds as if her husband was refussed entry based on the old laws when in fact new laws were in effect that would have let him enter.

If this is true then what was the reason for changing the law in the first place if it is only ignored?

Bad Martine, bad, bad Martine...horrible Martine, so bad...bad, bad, bad.....even if she doesn´t even have a parking ticket...

I copied and pasted the litteral letter of Karl Schwarz to Stephen Harper. I have copies of it. Bunch of copies, even hard copies.

God knows everything and He knows since Nov. 3rd, 2004 nobody cares about the situation Mona Scott created at the borders by NOT applying the law as she should. It SEEMS not even Stephen Harper is hearing his U.S. buddy.

God is good.
