Hi there, sorry for dragging you into this topic with the magic words "Passport request" in the title, which makes everybody to raise their eyebrows. My question today is regarding sending the passport to Buffalo.
I am an In-Canada applicant and I am awaiting passport request from Buffalo, CIC. I am in US right now.
1) Once I get passport request to my Canadian address, can I ask my roomate to post it by courier to my US address?
2) If that´s okay can I send the passport by post to Buffalo with an US return address which I don´t have in my background records in CIC forms at all? (because I haven´t stayed more than 6 months in US) or giving a US return address might create confusion in the minds of CIC leading to rejection?
3) If it is legal to do so, can I land in the very next trip I enter Canada from US?
4) How many days maximum it takes to return passport from CIC, Buffalo after stamping? (if it takes a few months (maximum) to get the passport back I will be stranded in US as I would not be having my Passport to go to Canada)

go to buffalo for a day or 2 and get it stamped... wat is the problem.

1. Yes. I did it for a friend and it worked.
2. Yes. Enclose with your passport a prepaid, self-addressed USPS Express Mail envelope and they return the passport to your US address.
3. You may land any time before your immigrant visa expires.
4. As per RPC Buffalo letter, it takes 15 bussiness days for passports to get stamped. Add the appropriate mailing times.
