Hello,
I am a Canadian Citizen and got recently married in India. My wife is in India now. I would like her to apply for a visitor´s visa and join me. After she comes over here I will start processing her Immigration.
I would like to know if she is eligible for applying fora Visitor´s visa? Or does she have to come here only on Permanent Residence.
What are the chances of she getting a visitor´s visa as she is married to a Canadian Citizen.

She can apply for a visitor´s visa but I believe she has to prove that she has strong ties in India. If you are to sponsor her, do it from outside as the timeline is faster when you sponsor her from India rather than doing it inside Canada.

she can apply for the visitors visa but do not hold much hope. you will have to prove her reasons to go home to India are more than her reasons to say in Canada with her husband. Good luck. I think you are better to start her immigration process right away if you want her to be in Canada as your wife.
