Subject: Fees for USA applicants; amount and manner
  Two questions:

RPRF- $820 American Dollars for applicant, and $820 for my wife?

Second question:

I plan on paying RPRF And Application Fees at the same time (I was told this will speed up the process in the long run), can I combine the costs together and send one big money order, or should I send two seperate money orders for the two seperate costs?

Advance Fee (in reply to: Fees for USA applicants; amount and manner)
I have seen no evidence that paying the landing fee in advance hastens the application.

But yes, the total fee for a couple is US$1,640.

Good luck.

I would not hasten than much with paying RPRF, the rate of the process is indeed the matter of chance, :) Save your money for a while.
We (my husband and I) paid RPRF 10.5 month ago along with medical examination (Buffalo), still nothing. But from America, I think, process goes faster. Good luck.

Thanks for replying. I only read once or twice somewhere in this forum that paying the RPRF shaves off a few months. It may not be true. Still, I´ll be paying both with my application. Should I send two seperate money orders, or can I combine them into one payment? Does it even matter?

I think you should send 2 seperate money orders which might not complicate things.

Police certificate in Canada, How long? (in reply to: Fees for USA applicants; amount and manner)
Hi guys,
Anyone know how long does it take to get Police certificate in Canada?

How to verify status of my application for this paper? (in process or sent to Buffalo)
(I tryed to contact by email, but no response)

I applied for it from April 2005 and hear nothing about it. Anyone is in the same line to share experience?

I really appreciate for any response.

I don´t know anything about police certificat acquisition from Canada. As an American, I had to apply for police/ FBI background check, which took a long ten weeks.
