HI,
I applied to canada Immigration through a Lawyer in Canada at Buffallo Center in Feb 04. I received File Number in Feb 04. from there onwards so far no response from the Bufallo Center. whenever i called my lawyer they are saying we are sending fax regarding your application status. but so far i didnt heard any news. Is anyone applied around Feb 04 still not heard anything.......

This is very strange. A lot of people who applied in Feb 2004 from Buffalo are getting passport request. You should have got your IA by now at least.
You can try to get your CAIPS notes. Visit www.caipsnotes.com for more information. It will cost you US$30 and will take approx 30 to 45 days. Maybe you will get some information.
