| Subject: What is the procedure of Getting a PR Card |

Hi Friends
I got my passports from the canadaian embassy. and i am planing to vist canada during the month of decemeber. I am a bit confused, is it right that after landing in canada, Do i have to apply for a PR card or do we get the PR card once we have landed in canada and give the immigration officers the address where we are going to stay in canada and would expect that in 4 weeks time. Can any one please clarify me with respect to this particular question.

As far as i know, during ur landing, the immigration officer will take ur address where u will be residing and they will mail ur PR card at that address.U will get the PR card in a span of 4 weeks.

also, if you did not apply for quebec, you cannot provide them with an address in quebec otherwise, you will not be able to land and your visa will be void.
