| Subject: visit before landing |
Does any of you guys know if it´s ok to just go for a trip to Canada , while having the PR visa , and not actual "land" right then ?
I know most of you want to land ASAP and not the other way around.

Interesting question that I don?t have the answer to. But what would be the point of this? Why not just land during your initial visit? You can always leave again and the next time you return you will do so as a Permanent Resident rather than as a visitor.

Possibly no, as soon as your PR visa is issued you visitor visa is automatically canceled.
