| Subject: Question about Canada to US immigration... |

I am stuck in Canada after visiting the US. My fiance and I are engaged and I guess that is all it took for them to ban me from entering the US again. I dont know if it was the ring on my finger or the fact that I didnt have a returned flight booked.
Anyway, Now he has to file for a fiance visa on Tuesday in the US. How long does this take? Of course I dont have a checkered background. I hear from 4 to 6 months or from 8 to 12 months... Just trying to see how long it will take.
Also, is there a way to speed this process up?

no way to make things go faster. just insure that you have included everything they ask in the original application. one extra day at the beginning will probably save you 2 weeks at the end.

no. my girlfriend brought a fellow from Italy and it was about 8-10 months.
