Hi PP request candidates, how you doing.....
I thought it might be helpful if we update our (limited) timeline as follows:

IA----------------April 25th
Documents+ROLF----June 3rd
Medicals----------reached Ottawa office on June 22nd

(I have given timeline only from IA because I think whatever time you do your medicals or submit documents, it all depends on the IA. I mean to say, our file is opened according to IA whether you do your medicals later or sooner).

This might be helpful. Please update passport request candidate friends.

A small query, you say "be patient. pp request should come in 2 months. if not, you may be selected for background check which may take up to 6-9 months. i am still waiting for my pp request. i applied in Jan 2004, last step doc sent in Dec 2004 and am still waiting. hope you have good luck."

The above statement implies that there are no background checks done for some applicants and therefore get their PPR in 2 months, and others selected have to wait for 6-9 months- where did you get this info from? I was always thought that bacvkground checks are done for all applicants after IA, some get cleared fast and some take time

Yes Isabella, I am also concerned with that statement. I have heard that from lot of people in my University too. So "Anonymous" in your view is that Background check applicable for even the applicant´s whose Interview was waived? (I am bit selfish, my interview was waived?)

As I remember Isabella, I think even your interview was waived.
