My application for PR under federal skilled worker category has reached CIC Buffalo today (7/18/05) by Fedex.
When can I expect to hear from them?

Good day. They probably, send you an acknowledgement of receipt (referred to as AOR) in about one month, might differ sometimes according to the volume of applications. When they send the post of AOR along with that you get the file number which you can find the status online. There are all applicable only if you qualify for the passing mark (obviously you might have qualified orelse I don´t think you would have applied I guess). Good Luck

Thanks for the Info. Should I ask the bank - if the "fees" money order has been encashed or not?
If yes, can I assume that they have started working towards creating a file and sending an AOR?
