  Canada´s armed forces are looking for proud men & women! Are you a pilot, doctor, nurse or an engineer? The Canadian Armed Forces has jobs for Canadians and select Canadian Permanent Residents with exceptional skills in their field of work.

The starting salary for a Pilot Trainee is $39,000* once you complete your 12-week Basic Officer Training in St-Jean, Qu?bec. From there, your salary could jump to $60,000, even $90,000 once you become a Captain within a few short years.

If a full time military job isnt for you, the reserve is less demanding, more flexible and may appeal to you more. The pay however is less.

Yes, check the link below for info. Finding work in the forces as a PR is probably a bit unrealistic, unless your qualifications fill a need that other Canadian applicants can´t meet. However for new Canadian citizens having trouble finding work its something to take a shot at.
