| Subject: RPRF Encashment? |

Hi
I have submitted my RPRF to CIC London a month back and I checked up with the bank from where I had taken the Demand Draft and the bank informed me that it is still to be encashed. How long do they take to encash the same.
I have read in this forum that CIC upon receipt immediately encash the same.
Can some one throw some light on this since I am very anxious.

For me they encashed immediately in 2-3 days. My application is in Buffalo. I don´t know about your CIC. I guess it is the same everywhere. There are couple of topics today regarding the same subject
1) Background+security check procedure
2) ROLF
Keep them for favorites for today and check the updates on that. It might be informative. Thanks.

you are right dude.
My RPRF was cashed in Jan 2005, however I got a letter in May 2005 that my BG check is in process (this was in reply to my request for status). The letter stated that BG check may take any where from 6-9 months!!
