Subject: Fire fighter course
I am on study permit in Canada. I have applied for immigration, I have done medicals and waiting for passport request. IAs I completed my studies I have got 90 days to search for a job. If I don´t get a job I gotta leave Canada if I don´t get immigration by that time. My mind is blowing crazy as I haven´t heard anything from CIC yet. Can anybody tell me how to extend stay in Canada? Also about Fire fighter courses as I am interested in that. Thanks.

can you delay your graduate? or you can take some other trainning courses. Yep, my college has forest fire fighter trainning courses, you know what? After my friend took that course, they send them to QC right away for the forest fire.

Anyway, it´s seasonal job either.

Plz tell me more abt the courses in your college. I talked to the grad secretary, she is telling I cannot delay my graduation, as I am on study permit, she doesn´t allow me to do AUDIT courses in my uny too after completion of my requirements.

I uderstand your situation now. Try to apply for another couse, but If you cannot find any ways to remain in Canada, you can apply as visitor status for next 6 months, include the proof that you are waitting for PR. Hopefully you ´ll get PR within next few months.
God bless you

Thanks a lot guys for the reply.

DB thats so nice of you. Can you plz give the link for the Fire fighter courses department? Actually, I browsed through the website but I couldn´t get through that. How is the partime job opportunities inside the Uny? I have to look at the fee structure for FF courses and I don´t know how the accomodations are there, whether it is costly or not.

I want to look at a couple of more Unys, if you can advise, what difference does it make with community colleges? I have a study permit that says I can study in any unys. in canada. Thanks. so nice of you man.
