Hi
i am CA citizen. while i was in CA, i applied for parents immigration. everything was approved and file was sent to my parent´s country office.
It´s been 3 years now from application. Also since last 2 years, I am working in US [but still resident - paying my taxes].
I am wondering will my file get cancelled because i am working in US?
any experiences will be very helpful.

(in reply to: Sponsoring parents - now working in US) who is going to look after them in Canada? I guess that will be the question. also, how will Canada get money from you when they need assistance - they have no jurisdiction in the US. I suspect you may have a problem on your hands.

I might be wrong but I think you have to be IN Canada in order to sponsor your parents.
